Crispy and delicious!

Tip: pre-smash the burgers between layers of parchment paper.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound grass-fed ground beef
  • 1/2 medium sized onion
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese – try cheddar
  • 1 TBL garlic powder

Directions

  1. Shred cheese and dice onion
  2. Mix beef with onion, cheese, and garlic
  3. Form into 6 balls
  4. Smash each ball between parchment paper to form flat burger
  5. Grill on each side (about 3-4 minutes) until crispy
  6. Serve with your favorite fixins!

Use your favorite cheese (we like Cabot Cheddar). Mix it in the ground beef or save it for the top. Either way you can’t go wrong.

Smash the burgers between two sheets of parchment paper for easy no-stick grilling.

Grill 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy. Top with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Mayo and mustard too! Yum!
